Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ThinkRoman Ventures LLC ("ThinkRoman," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use OpenAccess Navigator at https://navigator.thinkroman.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Who we are
OpenAccess Navigator is operated by ThinkRoman Ventures LLC. It is an educational mental-wellness tool. It is not a healthcare provider, and using it does not create a provider–patient relationship.
Information we collect
- Assessment responses and scores. Your answers to the PHQ-9, GAD-7, and safety questions, and the resulting scores. This is sensitive health-related information, which we treat with care.
- Account information (only if you create an account): your name (optional), email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
- Usage and technical data: a non-identifying session identifier and anonymized funnel events (for example, that an assessment was started or completed), used to understand and improve the Service.
- Information you choose to share: an email address you provide to receive a copy of your results.
How we use information
- To provide the assessment and generate educational guidance.
- To save your results and show your progress over time, if you have an account.
- To understand drop-off and usage in aggregate so we can improve the Service.
- To send a copy of your results by email when you request it.
AI processing
To produce your plain-English summary, your scores (and optional demographic ranges) may be processed by a third-party AI provider. We do not send your name or email for this purpose.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service — for example, hosting, database, email delivery, and AI processing — under agreements that limit their use of it, and as required by law.
Using the Service anonymously
You can take the assessment without creating an account. In that case your responses are not tied to your identity. If you ask us to email your results, we store that assessment associated with the email address you provide so that, if you later create an account with the same email, we can add it to your dashboard. If you never create an account, it stays unlinked to any identity. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain account data while your account is active and assessment data as needed to provide the Service.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing admin@thinkroman.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example, residents of Texas have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
Not a HIPAA-covered service
OpenAccess Navigator is an educational wellness tool and is not a HIPAA-covered entity. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
Children
The Service is intended for adults (18 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
